If there is one truth parenting has taught me, it is this: Parenting is not a competition.   Not a race to get everything right. Not a scoreboard of wins and mistakes.
Being a parent is a gift — a chance to shape a life, to guide a heart, to make someone’s world worth living in. And none of us were meant to do that alone.

So here is my call to action:

Let’s stop comparing.

Let’s stop judging ourselves or each other. Let’s stop pretending anyone has all the answers.

Let’s start connecting.

Let’s start supporting one another. Let’s start building a community where parents feel seen, heard, and valued.

Because when we show up for each other, our young adults feel it. When we build community, our families grow stronger. When we share our stories, we realise we are never alone.

This is my story.

I want to hear yours. (Maria)
